Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Catering Operations Supervisor to join our team at Moore Place. Reporting to the Chef Manager, you will play a vital role in managing all aspects of catering within our location, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered to our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to the Chef Manager in overseeing daily catering operations.
  • Supervise and manage a team of catering assistants, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to standards.
  • Maintain strict compliance with food safety and health & safety procedures, creating a safe and hygienic working environment.
  • Implement strategies to minimize waste and ensure the responsible use of kitchen equipment.

Requirements:

  • Intermediate or level 3 food hygiene certificate.
  • Comprehensive understanding of health & safety legislation relevant to the catering industry.
  • Proven experience in chef and people management within a similar setting.
  • Basic understanding of dietary requirements specific to older individuals.
  • Proficiency in the safe operation of kitchen equipment.
