Vision Rehabilitation Specialist

Location: Home based with regular travel across Flintshire and Wrexham.

Hours: 37 hours per week.

This role requires a professional to deliver rehabilitation interventions to enhance the skills and confidence of visually impaired individuals, promoting independence and social integration.

The successful candidate will assess and develop support plans to prevent harm or dependency due to sight loss, acting as an advocate for visually impaired people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored rehabilitation interventions to vision impaired individuals.
  • Develop and implement support plans to prevent harm or dependency.
  • Act as an advocate for visually impaired people, promoting accessible services and equality.

Requirements:

  • Experience in vision rehabilitation or a related field.
  • Strong advocacy and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Estimated Salary Range: £32,500 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
