Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Child Protection Specialist to join our team in Lincolnshire. As a member of our FAST Team, you will be responsible for undertaking Initial Assessments under Section 17 of the Children's Act of 1989, including assessments using the Common Assessment Framework and providing support to families and children in need.

The ideal candidate will have a recognized social work qualification, be SWE registered, and possess at least 3 years post-qualifying experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking Initial Assessments under Section 17 of the Children's Act of 1989
  • Undertaking Core Assessments and Child Protection Enquiries under Section 47 of the Children's Act of 1989
  • Providing support to families and children in need
  • Liaising with partnership agencies to support families and meet the needs of children and young people

Requirements:

  • Recognized social work qualification
  • SWE registration
  • At least 3 years post-qualifying experience
