Head of Commercial

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Commercial to join our dynamic team at Samworth Brothers Limited. As a key member of our Food To Go Commercial Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the relationship and performance management of customers across retail and coffee shop customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement account strategies, manage NPD & EPD launches, and oversee end-to-end activity, promotional and pricing strategies, including cost and flow through models.
- Ensure compelling long-term plans that support the success of the day-to-day natural work team and focus on key strategic priorities.
- Develop and implement a development plan for each team member, encapsulating key strengths, development priorities, and plans to support these, with a clear career development path tailored to individual needs and aspirations.
- Manage and ensure the accuracy of the commercial forecast change process, capturing and communicating all changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Active management and full accountability of all financial metrics to the agreed minimum gross margin %.
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject.
- Experience within FMCG & Food Manufacturing.
- Excellent leadership skills with strong interpersonal and communication skills to enable highly effective influencing across the business, group, and customers.
- High commercial acumen and numerical ability to facilitate effective decision making.
- Strong organisational, presentation, and project management skills.
- High performance who is a passionate team player, effective leader, and with a desire to drive change and improvement.
