About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Haematology team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Haematology services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out nursing procedures.
  • Assess patient care needs and develop programmes of care, ensuring evaluation and amendment as necessary.
  • Document patient condition and progress, reporting to medical staff and/or senior nursing staff any areas of concern.
  • Undertake nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current level one NMC registration.
  • Trained to give IV medications.
  • Able to cannulate and perform venepuncture.
  • Able to administer blood products.
  • Completion of all local competency packages.
