The Role

We seek a Senior Surveyor to join our Science & Higher Education division on a permanent, full-time basis. As a Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial management of our construction projects, optimizing profitability and cash flow, managing subcontractor selection, and ensuring well-documented processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project valuation processes, setting up and undertaking interim valuations that consider updated final accounts and maximize our commercial position.
  • Oversee the second-stage tendering process, producing accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Lead change management, including loss and expense matters.
About You

To be considered as a Senior Surveyor, you will need to demonstrate relevant experience in the construction sector, knowledge of the complexities involved, and a proven record of dealing with several projects of varying value, type, and complexity. You should have familiarity with standard forms of measurement and managing re-measurement, an expert understanding of the relationship between cost and value, and excellent risk mitigation strategies.
