Nursery Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Director to join our team at Elmscot Group. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a nursery and be responsible for the daily management of the setting, ensuring that the highest standards of childcare and education are maintained.

About the Role:
  • Lead and manage the nursery team, including senior staff and early years practitioners.
  • Ensure that the nursery is a safe and stimulating environment for children, staff, and visitors.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with the company's requirements.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to ensure their child receives the best possible care and education.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the nursery, including budgets, staffing, and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
  • To deliver and ensure a high standard of learning, development, and care for children aged 0-5 years.
  • To manage the day-to-day running of the Nursery.
  • To ensure that the Nursery is a safe environment for children, staff, and others.
  • Abide by the Trafford Guidelines & the Statutory Framework for the Early Years on Safeguarding Children together with Elmscot's Safeguarding Policy.
  • Manage all other staff within the Nursery.
Requirements:
  • Minimum level 3 in early years or equivalent qualification.
  • Good standard of English and Maths at GCSE grades 7-4 or equivalent.
  • 3 years or more experience of working in a nursery or similar environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Early Years' Foundation Stage and current Ofsted framework.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with staff, children, and parents.

Salary:£40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
