As an Engineering Apprentice (Mechatronics), you will play a key role in our efforts to improve the lives of millions by turning waste into sustainable power, recycling it, and keeping it off the streets.
With a starting salary of £18,090, you will have the opportunity to earn up to £22,000 per year, depending on your progress through the scheme. About the Role
This 3-4 year apprenticeship program will provide you with a wide range of skills in electrical, mechanical, and controls engineering. You will spend time both on site and at Colchester Institute on a day release schedule, working closely with our experienced engineers and technicians. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out preventive and reactive maintenance on plant and equipment
- Examining and fault-finding on plant and equipment
- Servicing activities on a hazardous waste site
- Ensuring health and safety and environmental compliance
Requirements
