About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Department Nurse to join our team as a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to patients and supporting the development of our junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nurses in the Emergency Department, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Contribute to the development of nursing staff, providing mentorship and coaching to support their career progression.
Requirements
  • 2 years post-registration experience in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills, with experience of leading a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Holds a valid NMC registration.
