The Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and talented individual to join our team as a Public and Regulatory Law Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our Public and Regulatory law offering and to work with a talented team of professionals. As a Public and Regulatory Law Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of matters, including Human Rights, Freedom of Information, and EIR work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice on Public and Regulatory law matters, including Human Rights, Freedom of Information, and EIR work.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Attend to clients in the office or elsewhere as required.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
  • Maintain ongoing professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Public and Regulatory law.
  • Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Public and Regulatory advisory and litigation work.
  • Strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently.
  • Previous experience working with public bodies, including central or local government, NDPBs, quasi-public bodies, or the third sector.
  • Ability to analyze complex information, draft high-quality documents, and manage client relationships.
