Role Overview

We are looking for an aspiring public & regulatory specialist to work directly with us. This is a rare opportunity to help develop our Public & Regulatory law offering and to join at an exciting point in our journey. You will do extremely interesting work and have an opportunity to learn directly from a nationally known public law solicitor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice on a wide range of Public and regulatory law matters including Human Rights, Freedom of Information and EIR work.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including other legal professionals to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients.
  • Effectively manage an individual caseload (with supervision where appropriate).
  • Attend to clients of the Firm in the office or elsewhere if needed.
  • Work in a collegiate and collaborative way within an immediate Team and wider Firm environment.
  • Maintain your continuing professional development requirements and take an active interest in furthering your knowledge within the field of law.
Requirements
  • Qualified lawyer, solicitor or barrister with relevant experience in public & regulatory law (from before or after qualification).
  • Strong academics.
  • Experience of analysis, drafting, file management and client relationship building.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work independently, although support and supervision will be provided to the individual.
