Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Glazing Operative to join our team at NSS Maintenance. As a working at heights contractor, you will be working on glazing jobs across the UK, servicing facilities management clients and the refurbishment industry.

Key tasks include:

  • Making safe damaged units/panes and replacing them later
  • Commercial glazing experience, including ability to measure large retail and commercial glazing using the Merlin tool
  • Reading O&M information to determine glazing profile and structure
  • Dealing with suppliers to order glazing units/panes
  • Coordinating specialist equipment suppliers, such as cranes and lifting operators
  • Supporting other tradesmen when glazing jobs are not available
  • Working at heights experience and good communication/customer service skills
  • Coordinating glazing replacement with the Slough depot management team
  • Consulting with the National Glazing Manager on planning works
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must be:

  • Flexible with working hours, including early starts, late finishes, and some weekends
  • Have good communication and customer service skills
  • Hold a full, clean driving license
  • Have an appetite for heights
