Patient Experience Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Experience Lead to join our team at NHS National Services Scotland. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care for patients, carers, and their families.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs and Engagement, you will be responsible for leading the analysis and interpretation of patient experience data from various sources to identify trends, strengths, and opportunities for improvement. You will also provide leadership on the expected standards of complaints handling and serve as the responsible complaints officer for the organisation.

Working closely with the Head of Corporate Affairs and Engagement, you will plan and prioritise workloads for your team, which consists of two complaints handlers and one manager. You will have direct line management responsibility for one member of staff.

The team is based at NHQ in Edinburgh, but you will work in a hybrid capacity, with the majority of work undertaken remotely.

As a Patient Experience Lead, you will be instrumental in supporting the organisation's commitment to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
