Zoo Animal Management Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Animal Carer to join our team at James Kirby.
As an animal keeper, you will be responsible for the daily management and care of animals on our West section.
This is a key role within our team, and you will take a full and proactive role in the daily management of the section, as well as helping with other sections as and when required.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day care of animals, including preparing food, cleaning enclosures, providing enrichment activities, and ensuring the highest levels of animal welfare.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience, hold an animal-based qualification, and be able to drive a company vehicle.
The estimated salary for this role is £24,500 - £25,000 per year, depending on experience.
