Mechanical Engineer

Job Overview:
Luton Bennett is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their team in the Buxton area. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for performing 100% mechanical maintenance on equipment such as crushers, screeners, grinders, and conveyors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Carry out reactive maintenance and installation work on exciting projects
- Work closely with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a mechanically biased background, ideally from a heavy manufacturing industry. Apprentice-trained candidates with fabrication experience will hold an advantage, but training can be provided. Ex-forces candidates are encouraged to apply.
Benefits:
- Circa £36,000 salary plus regular overtime opportunities (up to 1.5x) potentially reaching up to Circa £45,000

Working Hours:
The role offers two shift options: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 - 15:00 and Friday, 06:00 - 11:00 or Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 16:30 and Friday, 07:30 - 12:30.
