About the Role

Circet Ireland & UK is seeking an experienced Civils Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing civils and cabling activities on telecom infrastructure build and maintenance contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct joint site meetings with clients and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Survey and mark up existing services within the work area to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Identify and update job notes for DFEs (Design for Excellence) as required.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the office and Project Manager on project progress.
  • Conduct daily toolbox audits and safety audits with direct staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform Safe to Start audits before commencing work and conduct in-progress audits to coach operatives on site.
  • Conduct gate checks on gangs as they leave the yard to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

  • Experience and strong understanding of the SROH (Safety, Reliability, and Operational Health) framework.
  • NRSWA accreditation to Supervisor level.
  • In-depth knowledge of the telecoms/civils industry.
  • IT skills to liaise with group works control.
  • Understanding of permit to work schemes and noticing.
  • Experience in demonstrating good communication skills and prioritizing works effectively.
  • Comfortable and confident working to tight timescales.
  • Experience in dealing with external stakeholders and communicating effectively.
  • Experience in implementing, following, and amending procedures for service delivery as dictated by the client.
