Civils Supervisor

About the Role

Circet UK is seeking an experienced Civils Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction and maintenance of telecom infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct joint site meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss project progress and requirements.
  • Survey and mark up existing services within the work area to ensure safe and efficient construction.
  • Identify and update job notes for DFEs (Design for Excellence) as required.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the office and project manager on project progress.
  • Conduct daily toolbox audits and safety audits with direct staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform Safe to Start audits before commencing work on site.
  • Conduct in-progress audits and coach operatives on site to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Conduct gate checks on gangs as they leave the yard to ensure all necessary procedures are followed.

Requirements

  • Experience and strong understanding of the SROH (Safety, Reliability, and Operational Health).
  • NRSWA accreditation to Supervisor level.
  • In-depth knowledge of the telecoms/civils industry.
  • IT skills to liaise with group works control.
  • Understanding of permit to work schemes and noticing.
  • Experience of demonstrating good communication skills and prioritizing works effectively.
  • Comfortable and confident working to tight timescales.
  • Experience of dealing with external stakeholders and communicating effectively.
  • Experience of implementing, following, and amending procedures for service delivery as dictated by the client.
