Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Senior Nurse

We are seeking an experienced neonatal nurse to join our team as a senior nurse in our Level 3 Bliss accredited tertiary neonatal intensive care unit. As a senior nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of nurses to achieve outstanding outcomes for our patients.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs a senior nurse in our neonatal intensive care unit, you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert patient care to critically ill newborns and their families
- Leading a team of nurses to achieve high-quality patient outcomes
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve patient care
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve excellent patient outcomes
- Participating in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- Current RN registration with NMC and relevant post-registration qualifications
- BSc Degree in a relevant field
- Post-reg qualifications for specialty area (QIS)
- Leadership development programme
- Teaching qualification/experience and accredited NMC before mentorship course
Desirable qualifications include a Master's degree and evidence of working towards.
