About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at KUS Power Engineering, part of the BRUSH Group. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for delivering all site-based construction elements associated with multi-discipline projects, ensuring timely and satisfactory completion of customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Liaise with stakeholders to manage construction activities, including programme progression, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Administer Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) and ensure safety processes are upheld onsite.
  • Liaise with Client Operations Teams throughout the construction phase.
  • Receive, manage, and issue drawings for construction at site level, ensuring construction meets design requirements.
  • Work with Team Leaders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery on site.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and manage all completions.
  • Manage sub-contractor onsite activities.
  • Manage internal direct reports for the Construction team.
  • Provide input into design reviews as required.
  • Plan and provision resources, tools, materials, consumables, H&S equipment, and transport to ensure safe and efficient construction.
  • Manage and coordinate site Acceptance Testing as required.
  • Deliver 'As-Built' documentation throughout onsite construction & commissioning phases.
  • Complete site audits and inspections to maintain the highest standard of quality.
Person Specification
  • Team player with knowledge of safe systems of work and a recognised industrial/commercial electrical Modern Apprenticeship or degree-level qualification.
  • Experience of industrial electrical containment construction to current electrical regulation SMSTS Certified.
  • SSE Authorised.
  • Experience working in HV outdoor compound substation environment, up to 33kv.
  • NEBOSH, full first aid at work.
  • Comfortable with overnight stays/travel up to and over 2 hours.
