Job Title: Inventory and Demand Planner

MacDermid Alpha Electronic Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Inventory and Demand Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning function, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory control and analysis for our Ashby site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management processes to ensure accurate records across both our systems and physical locations.
  • Regularly monitor and report on inventory levels, age, condition, and turnover to maximize value and address any discrepancies or deviations.
  • Plan, manage, and control all stock and perpetual inventory management checks.
  • Support new product introduction projects and analyze sales forecasts at customer and product level.
  • Identify variances in actual demand vs planned demand and make informed changes to forecasts and supply chain plans to minimize shortages and overstocks.
  • Interface with the demand planning process and implement processes to flag potential issues before inventory is replenished.
  • Manage inventory and supply planning to site KPIs and continuously improve.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an Inventory Analyst role or similar roles, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Good understanding of financial aspects and KPIs as they relate to inventory management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data and present back in concise and understandable format.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
