Domestic Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our Housekeeping Team as a Domestic Assistant at our care home in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the care home is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety.
As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times. You will also undertake deep cleans as required, including floors, soft furnishings, fixtures, fittings, windows, and walls. Additionally, you will be responsible for disposing of rubbish and reporting any equipment failure or maintenance issues in line with policies and procedures.
We are looking for someone who is kind, compassionate, and has excellent communication skills. You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with good time management and organization skills. Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a good sense of humour are also essential.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.00, with 12 hours of work per week, every other weekend. You will also receive 28 days of holiday, including bank holidays, and enhanced bank holiday pay. We offer a comprehensive induction programme and funded qualifications via the apprenticeship programme. You will also receive a paid uniform and employee of the month award.
