About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for switchgear products.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with electrical and manufacturing engineers to understand design requirements and project constraints.
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for switchgear products including circuit breakers, disconnect switches, busbars, and enclosures.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation such as bills of materials, design specifications, and technical reports.
- Use EPLAN software to create 3D models and detailed drawings of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Liaise with suppliers to procure components and ensure designs comply with industry standards and customer requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, especially in the switchgear or electrical equipment sector.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, material selection, and design for manufacturability.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to switchgear design.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality designs and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
