Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at enfinium Ltd, a leading energy from waste operator. As part of our Kelvin management team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the wellbeing of our team and the environment, while fostering a positive health and safety culture.
Key Responsibilities- Manage compliance of our Environmental Management System, including conducting internal and external audits, and developing policies and procedures.
- Inspire and influence our team to adopt strong Health & Safety practices, ensuring everyone understands the benefits.
- Oversee environmental monitoring and reporting programs, ensuring all regulatory and environmental permit requirements are met.
- Prepare regular Health, Safety, and Environmental (ESG) reports, monitoring KPIs and ensuring targets are achieved.
- Drive Health and Safety reporting and investigations, ensuring effective risk management.
- Support our site management team with Safe System of Work (SSOW) and Permit to Work (PTW) systems for safety across the facility.
- A degree or equivalent in an Environmental or Health and Safety-related field, or substantial experience in a regulatory or supervisory role.
- A strong personal commitment to Quality, Health, and Safety, with a passion for continuous improvement.
