Fire Security Controller Professional

Staffline is seeking a skilled Fire Security Controller to join their team in a busy control room environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to carve out a career with a leading security company, providing a friendly and professional service at all times.
The role involves controlling access in and out of the building, coordinating emergency response and alarm escalations, patrolling the premises, and dealing with disturbances and security incidents. A valid SIA licence and CCTV licence are essential for this position.
We offer a competitive salary of £14.49 per hour, paid on a weekly basis. The contract includes 42 hours of work per week, with shifts operating on a 4 on, 4 off pattern. This means you will work 4 days followed by 4 days off, providing a good work-life balance.
As a Fire Security Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Controlling access in and out of the building
- Coordinating emergency response and alarm escalations
- Patrolling the premises and ensuring security protocols are being adhered to
- Dealing with disturbances/ issues and security incidents
- Dealing with first aid and incident reporting
We provide full training for this role, which must be signed off by our clients. If you have experience in preventative fire methods, plumbing and electrical knowledge, and good IT skills, we would like to hear from you.
We are looking for a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide excellent customer service. You must be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Our ideal candidate will be aged 18 or over and will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Aged 18 or over
- Valid SIA licence and CCTV licence
- Experience in preventative fire methods, plumbing, and electrical knowledge
- Good IT skills
- Confident communication skills
- Teamwork and flexibility
