Occupational Therapy Specialist

At Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy team. As an Occupational Therapist (Rotational), you will play a vital role in delivering patient-centred care and supporting patients with physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
The successful candidate will have a degree in occupational therapy, be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly in acute general hospitals, is highly desirable.
This rotational post offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your knowledge and skills in various specialties, including stroke, elderly care, surgery and orthopaedics, neurorehabilitation, and acute medical units. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide support and advice, manage caseloads, and contribute to service development.
We offer a comprehensive support package for band 5 Occupational Therapists, including workshops, training sessions, and a band 5 passport covering key skills and learning opportunities. Our team is committed to excellence, innovation, and inclusivity.
The salary for this position is estimated at £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on the national average salary range for Occupational Therapists in the UK.
