Trainee Property Manager Opportunity

Our client, a reputable independent local business, is seeking a motivated Trainee Property Manager to join their close-knit team. As a Trainee Property Manager, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality property management services to landlords and tenants of their residential property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with legal requirements and acceptable standards.
  • Process new tenancy applications and prepare initial paperwork.
  • Coordinate move-in day procedures for tenancies.
  • Liaise with landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy lifecycle.
  • Coordinate property maintenance, including contractor liaison.
  • Book routine property visits.
  • Handle end-of-tenancy procedures, including deposit deductions.
Requirements:
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written).
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Ability to negotiate challenges and problem-solve.
  • Willingness to take on responsibilities.
  • Capacity to cope well under pressure.
  • Temperament to work well as part of a team.
Package:

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 depending on property management skills and experience.

Hours: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, with Saturdays available as overtime.
