Ports, Terminals and Marine Liabilities Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Team Leader for Ports, Terminals and Marine Liabilities. As a key member of our Marine Executive team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction for our key Port and Terminal clients and wider portfolio, including Marine Liability risks.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Ports and Terminals and Liabilities team, providing strategic direction and guidance to team members.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and increase premium flow and yield growth aligned to Commercial Risk regional growth plans.
- Collaborate with the Chief Broking Officer (CBO) to develop and own the Go to Market Strategy across Ports and Terminals and Liability portfolio.
- Act as a spokesperson for Aon in the market, promoting our brand and values while enhancing our competitive position relative to competitors.
- Drive strategy for SPS and utilisation for relevant sectors and segments, ensuring adherence to business process and working with AUM and the SPS team.
- Monitor and manage all Aon Broking targets, regularly reviewing performance to ensure delivery of agreed targets.
- Work collaboratively with reinsurance to ensure an Aon United and coordinated approach across (re) insurance.
- Ensure broking practices are compliant with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and wholly consistent with Aon policies, values and behaviours.
- Leadership experience with a proven track record of success.
- Strategic thinker with specialty knowledge and extensive experience in leading client relationships.
- Programme design and placement for Ports and Terminals and Marine Liability risk.
- In-depth understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes.
- Technical insurance expertise in Marine.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- High numerical proficiency.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Thorough understanding and application of compliance and FCA regulations.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Consistently demonstrates integrity and professionalism.
