Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - Lewisham

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Lewisham, London

About the Role:

  • Provide support to teachers and pupils in a SEN school
  • Assist with managing challenging behaviors and supervising children in class, playground, and dining areas
  • Work with children with a range of special needs, including Autism, ADHD, SLD, PMLD, and SEMH
  • Participate in CPD training, such as Team Teach and PECS
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized education plans

Requirements:

  • 6 months+ experience working with children, preferably in a SEN setting
  • Knowledge of special needs, particularly Autism, SLD, and PMLD
  • Degree, Level 3 Childcare, TA, or Health Care qualification
  • Availability for full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm
