Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

TimePlan Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional learning needs, ensuring they have access to the curriculum and can reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with varying learning needs, promoting their independence and self-confidence.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), working closely with teachers and other professionals.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a sense of community and respect among students.
  • Support classroom activities, assist with lesson preparation, and monitor student progress, identifying areas where additional support is needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to adapt teaching strategies and resources, ensuring students receive the best possible education.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or special needs is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students achieve their potential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
