About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with speech and language delay, impairments, or disorders, as well as Autistic Spectrum Conditions and/or moderate and severe learning difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with tutors to ensure students' learning needs are met with a positive attitude.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.
  • Communicate effectively with students, tutors, and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive team approach.
Requirements
  • Mature and confident individual with a passion for providing exceptional support to students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, tutors, and other staff members.
  • Flexibility to follow instructions from peers and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
