Job Opportunity: Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead our leisure centres in Stockport, working closely with the General Manager to deliver exceptional operational performance and health and safety standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a senior management role, supporting the day-to-day operations of two leisure centres. As Operations Manager, you will work 37 hours per week, including two duty management shifts each week, with one weekend in three.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in duty or operational management within the health and fitness industry, with expertise in managing both swimming pools and fitness facilities. A pool plant and first aid qualification are essential for this role.

You will be responsible for leading and coaching your teams to achieve high levels of operational performance and health and safety, as well as carrying out 1:1s and overseeing training and development for your team.

In addition to a competitive salary of up to £29,478, you will receive 30 days' holiday entitlement per annum, including bank holidays, which rises with service, plus complimentary gym membership and opportunities for further training and career progression.
