About Us:

Young's is a leading hospitality company that prides itself on offering exceptional dining experiences. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and ambitious Sous Chef to work closely with our Head Chef to deliver high-quality food and exceptional customer service. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and specials.
  • Monitor and control kitchen inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and waste is minimized.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and exceptional customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train junior staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
