Job Description

Job Title: Executive Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our food service meets the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our clients and customers
  • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared and served to the highest standards
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and waste to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met and maintained
  • Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to develop and implement marketing strategies that promote our food service
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and technologies to ensure that our food service remains innovative and competitive

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
