The Role

At Morepeople 01780, we are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team. This challenging and rewarding role will see you work closely with clients nationwide to provide valuable advice on sustainable agriculture practices.

About the Job

You will have a degree in an environmental or agricultural field and extensive experience of in-person, on-farm conservation advice. You will be well-versed in the application of Agri-environment schemes administered by the Rural Payments Agency and familiar with computer-based mapping.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of key priority species and habitats on lowland farms, as well as their pressures and main conservation mechanisms. In-field identification of common farmland birds, butterflies, and plants is also essential, along with a knowledge of common farmland weeds and Agri-environment seed mixtures.

We are looking for someone who can travel regularly, so a full clean UK driving licence is required.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
