Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Technical Graduate Trainee to join our team at AWD online. As a Technical Graduate Trainee, you will be responsible for developing new and existing products, working closely with our Window Solutions sales team, and liaising directly with customers and suppliers in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new and existing products to extend and refine our extensive range
  • Work closely with the Window Solutions sales team to understand customer needs and preferences
  • Liaise directly with customers and suppliers in the UK to ensure smooth product delivery
  • Undertake a wide range of training courses to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Complete an international project, working with international colleagues and undertaking international placements at company locations globally for 4-6 months
Requirements
  • Graduating/Graduated with a bachelors/MEng degree, with a 2:1 minimum, during or after 2021 (essential), preferably in Mechanical Engineering/Design or similar
  • Possess 3 months work experience, in direct employment or an internship, experience (manufacturing/fenestration environment is preferred)
  • Possess experience of working internationally either through studying abroad or, work experience (desired)
  • Level B2/C1 standard in English (essential)
  • Proficiency in a second language (German desired) is preferred however, GCSE / A Level qualifications in another language will be considered
