About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled Bid Manager to join our Construction team at Kier Group. As a Bid Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Pre-Construction team in delivering projects that drive growth and development in local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble a bid team with the necessary expertise to prepare a winning bid.
- Implement bid management procedures and ensure their effective execution throughout the bid process.
- Chair Bid Kick-off meetings, solution development, and mid-bid meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop a tender period program, communicate actions to the team, and monitor progress.
- Attend feedback sessions with clients and coordinate tender queries and amendments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bid management and quality writing.
- Bidding experience on education, healthcare, commercial, and leisure projects.
- Previous experience working with a leading national or regional contractor.
