COWI is a global leader in engineering, consulting, and design services. We are seeking an experienced Bridge Engineering Team Lead to join our team.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for managing technically challenging bridge projects, guiding and supporting younger colleagues, and developing client relationships through project work.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the delivery of bridge projects to time and budget, ensuring industry-leading standards of technical quality and compliance with our internal management systems.

  2. Manage, mentor, and develop less experienced engineers and technicians within project teams, working with line managers to maximize training opportunities.

  3. Develop and maintain client relationships through project work, including identifying and realizing potential business opportunities.

  4. Assist with bid preparation and tendering, and support the Director's pursuit of business development opportunities if required.

  5. Produce engineering design, assessment, or checking work, including preparation or checking of calculations, written reports, and other contract deliverables.

  6. Lead project teams and manage project delivery, either as clients' or contractors' designers, ideally both.

The Ideal Candidate

You should have significant experience leading project teams and managing project delivery, with a strong background in highway engineering and a passion for technical excellence. A deep understanding of bridge engineering principles and practices is essential.
