We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer with expertise in bridge design to join our dynamic and well-established team in Glasgow. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing bridge structures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze bridge structures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
  • Prepare detailed design calculations, reports, and presentations for clients.
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status (ICE or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in bridge design and construction.
  • Proficient in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

What We Offer

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a collaborative working environment.
