Support Worker Opportunity at Winslow Court

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Winslow Court, a residential home providing support for young adults with severe learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to live fulfilling lives, promoting their independence, and encouraging lifelong learning. You will work as part of a team to provide person-centered care, teaching life skills, and planning social activities that cater to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
  • Plan and participate in social activities, including swimming, animal care, horse-riding, and horticultural groups
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, understanding their needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality care and support

Requirements
  • Residential Care experience (1 year preferred)
  • Driving Licence (required)
