Job Title: Chief Digital Information Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Digital Information Officer to join our team at Kingston Hospital. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our digital strategy, ensuring that our organization remains at the forefront of digital innovation in healthcare.

About the Role:

The Chief Digital Information Officer will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives
  • Leading the development and implementation of digital solutions to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Providing strategic IT leadership and professional advice to the executive team and trust board
  • Managing the digital, informatics, and information governance teams
  • Working with partner organizations to ensure that services deliver to expected standards and timescales
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A master's degree in an IT, project, or programme specialism
  • Programme, project, or change management experience (MSP, PRINCE2, AGILE, or CHANGE equivalent)
  • Evidence of continuing personal and professional development
  • Relevant professional qualification or equivalent level of experience
  • Demonstrable track record of successful change management and leadership
  • Significant and wide-ranging experience at (or near) director level in a large, complex customer-facing organization
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing IM&T strategies to achieve transformational levels of change and efficiency
