Job Title: Chief Digital Information Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Digital Information Officer to join our team at Kingston Hospital. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our digital strategy, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of digital innovation in healthcare.

About the Role

The Chief Digital Information Officer will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with our organisational goals and objectives
  • Leading the digital transformation of our organisation, including the development and implementation of new digital technologies and systems
  • Providing strategic IT leadership and professional advice to the executive team and trust board
  • Managing the digital, informatics, and information governance teams
  • Working with partner organisations to ensure that services deliver to expected standards and timescales

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A master's degree in an IT, project, or programme specialism
  • Significant experience in developing and implementing IM&T strategies to achieve transformational levels of change and efficiency
  • Proven experience in leading digital transformation programmes, including the development and implementation of new digital technologies and systems
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
