About the Role
As a Care and Support Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers by accompanying them to appointments, shopping, preparing meals, and helping with daily living routines including washing, dressing, and personal care. You will provide companionship and make someone's day that little bit easier. To succeed in this role, you will need to ensure you have a full valid driving license, your own vehicle, knowledge of the Chard area, and the ability to commute to Chard from your home location. Additionally, you will require the right to work in the UK and be available to work 7-2 and/or 4-10 across Monday to Sunday on a two-week rolling rota, as well as alternate weekends. We offer competitive pay of £12.16 per hour (inclusive of a 30p travel enhancement) and enhanced rates for nights, weekends, and bank holidays. Our comprehensive benefits package includes free DBS check and uniform, mileage rate of 47p, plus MOT scheme and free breakdown cover 24/7, access to your earnings before payday via Wagestream, full provision of all necessary PPE, wellbeing support, reward and recognition programs, and a refer a friend bonus of £350 per person referred.
