About the Role:

The Finance Master Data Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of Finance master data across the enterprise. This includes the development and execution of strategies for Finance master data management, the establishment of robust data governance policies, and the oversight of FPC MDM operations and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards that align with the organisation's objectives and compliance requirements.
• Evaluate current practices for operational efficiency and future compliance, ensuring alignment with Operational Delivery Leads (ODLs) & Finance Risk and Compliance initiatives.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of data governance initiatives. Regularly report on data quality and governance performance, fostering continuous improvement in collaboration across Finance Operations and Finance and Procurement Centre (FPC) to enhance data management practices.
• Engage with stakeholders across Finance and IT to understand data-related needs and challenges. Effectively communicate the value of data governance, securing support for governance initiatives.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

This role requires a proven experience in Finance master Data Management and data governance. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP role management and SaaS user management, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, ability to develop strategic plans and policies, and keen attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and security. Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum.
