Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at West London NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to work with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health support and treatment to young people aged 0-18. This will involve comprehensive assessments, developing risk management plans, and offering specialist intervention packages using various treatment models.
The role requires significant experience of working with children and adolescents in a mental health or equivalent setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child mental health, research methodology, and legislation relevant to mental health.
As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to provide targeted, early interventions to children and young people experiencing mild-moderate mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mental health support and treatment to children and adolescents
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop risk management plans
- Offer specialist intervention packages using various treatment models
- Masters degree-level qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Nursing)
- Current professional registration (e.g., HCPC, NMC)
- Significant experience of working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
