As a Structural Engineer at HARHESTY & HANOVER, you will play a critical role in leading the design of complex fixed bridges, movable bridges, and performing bridge inspections. You will be part of a talented team that has delivered award-winning local bridges, such as the Sarah Mildred Long Vertical Lift Bridge, the ENR 2020 Bridge/Highway Project of the Year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of structural projects, including bridges and other transportation infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Mentor and train junior staff members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer License (PE) required
  • At least 8 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably with a focus on bridge design
  • Experience with FEM modeling software and local client base
  • Excellent communication and project management skills

The estimated salary for this position is around $130,000 - $190,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
