Job Summary

Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of FOI Administrator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and responding to Freedom of Information requests, ensuring that our organization's information is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to the public.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Managing and responding to Freedom of Information requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensuring that all information requests are handled in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Data Protection Act 2018
  • Providing advice and guidance to staff on information governance and data protection issues
  • Collaborating with other teams to ensure that our organization's information is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to the public
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with information governance and data protection regulations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Data Protection Act 2018
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
