Lead Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Project Engineer to join our team at a global leader in the water industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead the electrical controls design of water treatment assets globally, providing electrical and controls support for the execution of Bridge, Complex Mobile, and BOO projects. They will also be responsible for leading I/O checks, commissioning, and startups for newly designed equipment and plants.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Leading the electrical controls design of water treatment assets globally.
  2. Providing electrical and controls support for the execution of Bridge, Complex Mobile, and BOO projects.
  3. Leading I/O checks, commissioning, and startups for newly designed equipment and plants.
  4. Document creation, review, and approvals.
  5. Collaborating with fabrication facilities, sourcing, and product management.
  6. Leading, coaching, and training outsource engineering and working closely on detailed designs and drawings.
  7. Site visits for commissioning and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  1. Relevant water treatment experience.
  2. Qualifications or certifications in electrical design and installations.
  3. Good knowledge of water process, electrical control, and mechanical designs.
  4. Experience directly in an engineering design.
  5. Experience in a product/services business in water treatment.
  6. Strong water process and project management skills.
  7. Ability to drive projects and meet deadlines.
  8. Strong analytical and computer skills.
