Job Title: Finance Manager/Office Manager

Design Haus Site Services Ltd is a bespoke multi-discipline specialist contractor providing Building Services (MEP) and Facilities Management contractor.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager/Office Manager to join our team at Design Haus Site Services Ltd in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial statements, analytical skills, finance, financial reporting, and accounting tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statements: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide regular financial reports to senior management, including project cost reports and financial performance analysis.
  • Accounting: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Bookkeeping: Perform bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Preparation and submission of company payroll on a fortnightly and monthly basis.
  • Regular project cost reports to senior management and preparation of fortnightly subcontractor labour spreadsheets which will also need to be project costed on excel.
  • Letting senior management know of any monthly PAYE/CIS liabilities.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Office Support: Provide administrative support to senior management and the company, including managing company office email and telephone and dealing with all correspondence.
  • Stocktaking and managing office and site supplies.
  • Document control.
  • Organise travel and accommodation for staff as necessary.
  • Office health and safety.
  • Planning employee events/client events.
  • Point of contact for building/office management/landlords.
Requirements:
  • AAT part/fully qualified (desirable).
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including Sage and Excel.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Experience in finance and accounting.
