Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to children with special educational needs in a 1:1 capacity, working closely with the class teacher to deliver pre-planned content. The ideal candidate will have a good level of patience, resilience, and ability to interpret plans.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting children with SEND by being proactive and providing tailored support
- Delivering teaching resources and interpreting plans to meet the needs of individual students
- Promoting activities to aid natural curiosity and knowledge
- Supporting children with interventions to address specific learning needs
- A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs
- Prior experience in schools is desirable but not essential
- An Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service (we can assist with application)
- A legal right to work in the UK
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. We offer a competitive salary package, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay, and the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
