Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a welcoming village school. The role will involve working one-to-one with a child with autism, delivering pre-planned content and supporting the class teacher.

About the Role
  • Supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) in key stage 2
  • Delivering teaching resources and interpreting plans
  • Promoting activities to aid natural curiosity and knowledge
  • Assisting with interventions and providing emotional support
Requirements
  • Genuine passion for working with children
  • Prior experience in schools is desirable but not essential
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service
  • Legal right to work in the UK
